BILLABLE
HOURS PER WORK DAY
WildCard Investigations, Inc., standard billable work day is a full
8 hour surveillance day, which includes 100 miles and tolls, competitively
priced. Additional hours are billed at an hourly rate.
COURT
APPEARANCES & AFFIDAVITS
Our investigators will voluntarily appear to any court summons upon
request by our client defense or the county clerk of courts. In
the event the investigator is no longer employed by our agency;
WildCard will locate the investigator for court appearance to assure
the investigators presence and testimony is submitted in a timely
manner.
IN-HOUSE
INVESTIGATIONS
WildCard performs preliminary investigations in house by confirming
information provided by the database search is accurate and current.
We do this by accessing numerous other database searches made available
to WildCard without contacting the claimant directly at no additional
cost to you.
OUR
POLICY REGARDING DIRECT CLAIMANT CONTACT
Other surveillance vendors will use in-house investigators to contact
the claimant directly to verify whether the claimant does in fact
reside in the latest address generated by a database search and
using various pretext techniques. Here at WildCard, we operate differently.
We believe certain pretext techniques along with excessive pretext
undermines the claimant and polarizes the case prior to conducting
surveillance. Many claimants become self-aware of their surroundings
and burn the investigator because of a direct contact by inexperienced
in-house investigators. Our goal is not to have a surveillance conscious
claimant. We have legitimate concerns with current legislation that
having direct contact with the claimant might be construed by legal
experts as an intrusion of privacy. As a rule of thumb, we rarely
contact the claimant directly or indirectly using other parties.
We do this as a preventive measure, to preserve the integrity of
the case and adhere to all expectation of privacy issues.
ROTATING
INVESTIGATORS VS USING THE SAME INVESTIGATOR PER FILE
WildCard
deploys the same field investigator to manage your case over and
over again. Making the field investigator a master in every case
assigned. Most surveillance vendors rotate their investigators with
every case assigned rather than allowing the same investigator to
work the case over and over again. As a result of this, the investigators
exposure to the case is diminished due to lack of knowledge surrounding
each particular case. An investigator can read prior surveillance
reports to prepare before conducting surveillance. However, reports
do not illustrate the layout of the area, frequently used street
arteries by the claimant, the claimant's habits, mannerism, the
way the claimant moves and usual routes of departure and driving
patterns. Here at WildCard, we use the same investigator repeatedly
as we believe the frequency an investigator working the case dictates
the investigators efficiency in mastering the case.
