My wife and I have been avid Hummingbird watchers for about 15 years. We have always enjoyed having from 4 to 8 hummingbirds around from April till mid October. But for some strange reason this summer for over 2 months we would have over twenty hummingbirds at a time. Starting all of a sudden in Mid July they appeared and stayed around through September. It was strange, at first they were all around our one feeder on the back porch and after a couple of weeks they moved to the front porch. While on the back porch we filled that feeder at least 3 times a day and a couple of days we filled it 4 times. After the humming birds moved to the front porch we filled those two feeders twice every day. I would fill them after dark so we could watch them with out interruption from daylight until around 2 in the afternoon. Then we would fill them again and it would last until dark. We have an extensive camera system for security and wildlife watching and get to watch lots of Gods handiwork as you can see from our other videos.
